N. C. Infotech

We are tucked away in the Laxmi Building Compound, room 13-390E. It’s right across from the Swastik Cinema on Lamington Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this road is the place for anything electronic. N. C. Infotech is a small setup. We have a lot of wires, old monitors, and parts lying around. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The compound is always crowded and finding a place to park is a nightmare, so most people just walk. We’ve been here for a while. It’s loud because of the cinema and the street market, but we’re used to the noise. We spend our days fixing things or helping people find the right parts. Sometimes we get stuff that is really old and hard to work on. It takes time, but we usually figure it out. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. We drink a lot of tea from the stall nearby to keep going. It’s not a fancy job, but it keeps us busy. People come to us because they know we’ve been in the building for years. We just do the work and try to be honest about what can be fixed and what can’t. Sometimes we even have to tell people to just buy a new one because it's too far gone.
