You can find us at the upper level of the Panchdara Complex, which is right near the S G Highway in Bodakdev. It’s a great spot because there is always something happening outside. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day. There is flour on the tables and the smell of yeast in the air. We aren't a big factory; we are more of a local operation where we actually know the names of the people who walk through the door. The kitchen is where all the action is. It’s cramped and usually quite warm from the ovens, but that’s where the work gets done. We have a few old mixers that make a lot of noise, but they still get the job done. The staff here is a mix of young kids learning the trade and older folks who have been baking for decades. We don’t use fancy slogans or try to act like we are some high-end boutique. We just bake bread and cakes. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out looking perfect, but it still tastes like it should. We get a lot of regulars who stop by on their way home from work on the highway. They like that they can just chat with us while we wrap up their orders. It’s a simple life. We clean up the counters at night, lock the doors, and then do it all again the next morning. It's just a bakery.
