Farmic Organic Food

Farmic Organic Food is our small shop in Memnagar. We are tucked into the New Natraj Complex at number 109. It’s right on Gurukul Road, which is always full of people. We decided to start this because we wanted to sell things that are grown naturally. We aren't big businessmen, just people who care about what goes on the dinner table. The shop is quite small, so when we get a fresh delivery of grains or vegetables, there’s hardly any room to walk. We spend a lot of our time opening sacks and weighing out portions for customers. It’s not like those big supermarkets where everything is wrapped in plastic and looks perfect. Our potatoes might have some dirt on them and the fruit isn't always the same size. That’s just how organic stuff is. We talk to the farmers directly most of the time. Some days the supply is low because the weather was bad at the farm. We just tell people the truth about it. The shop smells like pulses and dried spices. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. We don’t use any fancy sales talk. If you want something healthy, you come in and see what we have today. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and cleaning the shelves, but it’s a good life. We’ve become friends with many of the regulars.
