Master Caterer

Master Caterer is based out of Block No 159, Flat No 1897, in the Pratiksha Appt. We’re over near Sola Road in Naranpura. It might seem strange to have a catering business run from an apartment complex, but we’ve made it work for a long time. Our space is filled with big cooking pots, stacks of plates, and bundles of spoons. When we have a big event coming up, the whole place feels like it's bursting at the seams. We do a lot of the prep work here before moving everything to the venue. It takes a lot of coordination to get the gas cylinders and the raw ingredients moved around without blocking the stairs for the neighbors. We try to be quiet, but catering is noisy work. You’ll often see our guys carrying crates down to the parking area to load up the small trucks. We don’t have a fancy storefront with glass windows. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live in Naranpura and saw us working at a local function. It’s a lot of sweating over hot stoves and making sure the salt is just right. We aren't trying to win any awards; we just want the food to be ready when the guests arrive. It’s a humble way to make a living, but we take it one order at a time, making sure we don't forget the pickles or the napkins for the guests.
