Marson Leather House

Our shop is located at 40, Wuthucattan Street in Periamet. If you know the area, you know it’s the place to be for leather. The smell of tanned hides is the first thing you notice when you walk through the door. We’ve got stacks of leather everywhere, in all different colors and finishes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. We spend our days sorting through the stock and helping people find the right piece for whatever they’re making. It’s manual work, moving heavy rolls around and checking for flaws. The street outside is narrow and always packed with people and carts, which adds to the energy of the place. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or any fancy lighting in the store. We just have good leather and a lot of experience. My father started this, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. We talk to the suppliers, check the quality ourselves, and try to keep the prices fair. It’s a traditional business in a traditional neighborhood. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell leather. Some days are slow and we sit and drink tea, other days we can barely keep up with the orders coming in. It’s a good life here and we like the people we meet every day. Periamet is noisy and crowded, but it feels like home.
