Burthill

Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, especially when we have a lot of files to go through. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot, so we rely heavily on the air conditioning during the summer months. The floors are tiled, and we try to keep the place tidy, though there is always a stack of mail somewhere that needs sorting. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We spend our hours looking at designs and talking through the details of different jobs. It’s a simple operation. We eat our lunch together most days, usually sharing whatever people brought from home. There isn't much to brag about, just a group of people working in a row house in Naranpura. We like the fact that it’s a quiet street and we can just focus on the work at hand without distractions. We usually wrap things up and head out before the evening traffic gets too bad.
