Mahi Handicraft

We are located at Shop Number 2 in the Shreeji Shopping Center, which is right by Geratpur Station. Being near the station means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. The shop is small and compact. We have shelves lining almost every wall to hold our stock. Most mornings start with us sweeping the front and rearranging the items that might have shifted. It’s a practical space. We have a small desk where we do all the paperwork and a couple of stools for when we need to sit down. The lighting isn't the best, but we have a few extra lamps for when we are doing detailed work. We get a lot of dust from the trains and the commuters, so we spend a decent amount of time cleaning things off. It isn't a high-end boutique; it's just a regular shop where we do our business. We know the other shopkeepers in the center, and we often help each other out if someone needs change or a hand moving a heavy box. The atmosphere is very local. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open up, do the work that needs doing, and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a steady routine that we’ve followed for quite a while now without much change here at Geratpur Station.
