Maharshi Driving School

We've been at Abhimanyu Shop for a while now. It's just a small spot at number 9. Most days we are out on the roads anyway. Teaching someone to drive takes a lot of patience, you know. People get really nervous when they first sit behind the wheel and try to figure out the clutch and the gears all at once. We try to keep things calm in the car because panicking doesn't help anyone learn. My uncle started this school and now I help out with the lessons too. It’s not a big fancy office with chairs and desks. We have a couple of cars that we keep in good shape, though they have some scratches from the years. It’s mostly about getting people their licenses without too much stress. Sometimes the traffic is bad, especially near the shop area, but that’s actually good practice for the students. We see all kinds of people, young kids getting their first permit and older folks who never got around to learning before. We just sit there, guide them through the steering, and watch the mirrors for them. It’s honest work. Most people find us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We don't really do big ads. If you come by the shop, you might find it closed if we are out on a lesson, but we usually leave a note. Every student is different. Some learn fast, others take a few more weeks. We just want them to be safe when they are out on their own.
