Our office is over at Tara Icon, located right on the Mumbai-Pune Road in the Wakdewadi area. It is a very busy part of town with a constant stream of traffic going past the windows. Being at number 8 in the building gives us a bit of a view, but usually, we are too focused on our screens to pay much attention to the outside world. Software is what we do, which means a lot of hours spent typing and thinking through problems. Even though it is a private limited company, we try to keep the atmosphere inside the office pretty casual. Mornings are often filled with discussions about projects, while the afternoons are quieter as everyone gets into their coding. Wakdewadi is a convenient location for the team, even if the commute gets a bit messy when it rains. There is a small corner where we make tea and take a break from the glare of the monitors. It is not some fancy high-rise building, just a practical place where we can get our work done without distractions. We have seen this area change a lot over the years as Pune has grown, but our routine stays mostly the same. We just come in, do our best with the software tasks, and head home like everyone else.
