Live Chicken

Live Chicken is located at C1/81 in the Nirman Complex. If you know this area, we are right opposite the IOC Pump on Rc Tech Road. This is the Chanakyapuri part of Ghatlodia, and it stays busy from dawn until dusk. We chose this spot because the petrol pump is a big landmark and everyone stops there for fuel. The shop is small but we keep it as clean as possible for a place of this nature. It is a lively neighborhood with lots of families living in the apartments around the complex. We start our day very early, long before most people are even awake, to get everything ready for the morning rush. It is hard work and the smell is something you just get used to after a few days. We have a few simple wooden benches for people to wait on while we work. Most of our customers are folks from the nearby blocks who want something fresh for their dinner. We do not do any fancy packaging or wrapping. You just get what you asked for, weighed and ready to go. My brother and I run the place together. We do not have a big corporate plan or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people in Ghatlodia have a reliable place to come to every day. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, but customers still show up. We have been here for a good while and the locals seem to appreciate us.
