Life Driving School

So, we are down here in the lower level of the Sahjanand Complex. If you know Ellis Bridge, you know how the traffic gets on the main road near Pritamnagar Akhada. We started Life Driving School just to help people who are actually scared of getting behind the wheel. It's not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some chairs, some forms, and our cars parked nearby. Most days I'm out with a student, usually someone who keeps stalling the engine or forgets to check the mirrors. Ahmedabad roads are tough, right? We try to be patient because everyone has to start somewhere. I've seen all kinds of people come through those doors—young kids just turning eighteen and even some older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. We spend a lot of time talking about the rules, but mostly we are out there on the road, getting the practice in. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when three people show up at once for their paperwork, but we manage. It’s just how it is. We don't have any big sales pitches or shiny brochures. If you want to learn to drive and you're around Ellis Bridge, you just walk down the stairs and find us. We keep the cars clean as much as we can, though the dust in this city makes that a full-time job on its own. Anyway, that's what we do every day. It's not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and we like helping out the locals.
