L P Computer Co. sits in Office No-Ui-3 at Sun Plaza, right at the Swastik Char Rasta. We are directly opposite Fairdeal House, so we get to see all the hustle and bustle of that intersection all day long. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with computer towers opened up and screwdrivers lying on every flat surface. We have a lot of old parts in the back that we keep just in case someone brings in a vintage machine. Sometimes it smells like solder and old dust in here. Customers come in with cracked screens or laptops that won't turn on, and we just do what we can to figure it out. It isn't always a quick fix, and sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive from across town. The air conditioning in Sun Plaza can be a bit temperamental, so we often have a small fan running on the counter during the summer months. We've got a small fridge for cold water and a stool that everyone fights over because it's the only one that doesn't wobble. Working at Swastik Char Rasta means there is always somewhere to get a quick snack or a tea when things get stressful. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just the one where you can actually talk to the guy fixing your computer. It is a small, honest setup and we like it that way.
