L K Mistry

Our shop is at number 16 inside the Shivam Complex. We are right on the National High Way in Isanpur, not too far from Jeevan Park. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. L K Mistry is basically a small workspace where we keep all our tools and parts scattered around. My hands are usually covered in grease or dirt by noon, and the floor always has a few oil stains no matter how much we try to sweep. People stop by because they saw us from the road or they live nearby in the park area. We don't have an air conditioner, just a couple of wall fans that move the hot air around during the summer. It’s a basic setup with a few stools for people to sit on while we look at whatever they brought in. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, so the shop gets a bit cluttered with half-finished jobs. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here in the complex. It is a lot of hard work and the hours can be long if a job is difficult. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the tools organized.
