We are located at Shop No 10 on the ground floor in Maninagar. The Rambaug Fire Station is just a short walk away, so we hear the sirens pretty often. The shop isn't very big, but we’ve managed to cram a lot of shelves into it. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day by checking what came in the night before. It’s a lot of boxes and small bottles. We spend a good amount of time organizing everything so we can find things quickly when someone comes in with a prescription. Some of the names of the medicines are hard to pronounce, and the doctors’ handwriting doesn’t make it any easier. We have a small refrigerator tucked in the back for things that need to stay cold. It’s just a regular local pharmacy. We don’t have bright neon signs or anything like that. Just a counter and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. The floor is white tile that shows every bit of dirt, so we’re always sweeping. Most of our customers are from the apartments nearby. We know their names and what they usually need. It’s a steady routine of counting out pills and taping up boxes. By the time we close at night, the street has finally started to quiet down. It’s just a simple shop serving the local community here in Maninagar.
