L. D. Enterprise

The shop is tucked away in Nawa Wadaj at Shop No. 47. We are right in Swaminarayan Park - 1, just across from those Sahajanand Bunglows. If you reach the Balolnagar X-Road, you’re basically there. L. D. Enterprise is a small place, nothing too big or flashy. I spend most of my time behind the counter or moving boxes around. The morning starts with sweeping the front and making sure everything looks decent before the neighbors start walking by. It gets quite busy at the crossroad during the evening hours when everyone is heading home. I see the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes someone stops in just to chat about the weather or the traffic. I don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us making sure things run okay. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just the name on the board above the door. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of things on the shelves so people don't have to go far to find what they need. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. It is just a simple way to make a living, and it keeps me busy enough that the days go by pretty fast. Sometimes I forget to take a proper lunch break, but that's just part of running your own little spot in Ahmedabad. We just take things as they come.
