Kyra Infotech is over in Bapunagar. We are right in Harshad Colony, A-1/24 to be exact. It is across from Rajlaxmi Society. The road outside, Thakkarbapanagar Road, is always buzzing with scooters and people going to work. Our office is a simple place. We have a few rows of desks and some pretty old chairs that we probably should replace soon. Working in tech from this part of Ahmedabad is interesting because it’s a very local, traditional area. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and we're right there. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk during lunch, especially when it’s not too hot. The internet can be moody sometimes, so we spend a fair bit of time complaining to the provider. We have a lot of cables running along the floor, which we’ve taped down so nobody trips. It is just a regular group of people here. We share snacks and talk about cricket while the software compiles. It’s not a shiny startup office like you see on TV. It’s just a ground-floor space where we get things done. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try not to make too much noise in the evenings. It’s a decent spot to spend the day. There is a tea stall around the corner where we get our fix in the afternoons.
