Kwality Kharek

Our place is B/4 in the Shivrath Apartment, part of Raipur Society. We’re right across from Diwanballubhai School in the Kankariya area. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, usually full of kids coming and going from the school, which makes it feel lively. Kwality Kharek deals with dried dates, or kharek as we call them, and we’ve been operating out of this apartment setup for a while. It’s not your typical commercial store; it feels more like a home-based business where things are handled with a bit more of a personal touch. The smell of the dried fruit is always there when you walk in. We spend a lot of time sorting through the stock, making sure the quality is what it should be before we pack things up. It’s a lot of sitting and manual sorting, which takes time but it’s necessary. We don’t have big neon signs or a polished sales floor. People usually find us because they know the school or live in Raipur Society. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with boxes when a new shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle furniture around to make space. It’s a simple life here in Kankariya. We deal with our regulars, keep the apartment tidy, and make sure the kharek is ready for whoever needs it. It’s just us doing our daily work in a quiet corner of the city, keeping things straightforward.
