Kutchh Textiles & Handicrafts

Our shop is L-4 in the Dr. Kasturbhai Campus. We are right across from the RBI Quarters near Subhas Bridge. It’s a fairly easy place to find once you get to the bridge area. We’ve been here at this location for many years. The campus has a lot of different businesses, but we mostly keep to ourselves. Inside our space, you'll find heaps of fabric and handmade items everywhere. It’s not organized like a mall store. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we keep everything we’ve brought in. We spend a lot of time sorting through the textiles. It’s a lot of work, and it can be tiring on the back after a few hours. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just rely on the people who know us and keep coming back. Sometimes we have to move stacks of cloth just to make a path for someone to walk. It’s just how we do things here. We prefer it this way, without the pressure of looking perfect. The staff is local, and we all help out with whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning or packing or talking to visitors who drop in. It’s a simple operation. We just like the work and the atmosphere of the campus. It suits us just fine.
