Brabourne Road is always loud. Our office is at number 33, which is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history. We’ve been here for many years now, and the routine hasn’t changed much. My own desk is usually covered in a mess of papers and old files. We spend most of our day dealing with whatever customers walk in or call us. Sometimes the internet goes out without warning, which is frustrating, but we just keep going. The tea stall right downstairs is where we go when we need a break from the noise. It’s definitely not a fancy place, but it is where the real work happens. We handle the stuff coming in and going out every day. Mostly, we are busy from the morning until the evening. The traffic outside gets really bad around 5 PM, so we try to time our exits. If you are looking for our office, just keep an eye out for the sign near the main entrance. It is getting a bit faded and the walls could honestly use a new coat of paint. We have a few regulars who stop by just to have a chat. We just focus on the daily tasks we have. It is just us doing what we know. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Just some old chairs and a lot of work to finish. The neighborhood has changed, but we are still here at 33.
