Krishna Gifts Venture of Krishna Plastics is over on the first and second floors of the Avishkar 2 building in Madalpur. We are near the Westend Hotel, right under the bridge at Ellis Bridge. Having two floors is good because it gives us more room for the plastic items and the Kriman brand goods we keep in stock. It can be a bit of a climb up the stairs, but people don't seem to mind once they see how much stuff is actually up here. The bridge makes it easy to find us, though the noise from the traffic above is something you just learn to live with. We have a lot of boxes stacked up because we deal with both the gift side and the plastic side of things. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for us. The lighting on the second floor is a bit dim in the corners, so we sometimes have to move things around to show customers the colors properly. We are just a regular business trying to keep things moving. The staff is just a few local people who know where everything is hidden in the back rooms. We don't do anything too fancy with the displays. It is more about having the items people need for their homes or for giving to others. We keep the doors open six days a week and just handle whatever comes our way, from small sales to larger orders for the neighborhood.
