Kenya Watch Company

My grandfather started this place a long time ago. We are at 4 Swastik Super Market. People know us as Kenya Watch Company. Ashram Road is always busy but we are tucked in near Sales India. I spend most of my days looking through a small lens at tiny gears. It is quiet work. Most folks come in because their battery died or they dropped their watch and the glass broke. We have seen all sorts of watches over the years, from the cheap ones kids wear to some very nice old ones that have been in families for generations. It gets dusty here sometimes because of the traffic outside. I try to keep the counters clean. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. If you are walking near Sales India, you might see our sign. It is not a fancy shop. It is just a place where things get fixed and people buy a new strap when the old one gets sweaty and cracks. Some days are slow and I just sit and listen to the ticking. Other days, four people come in at once with the same problem. That is just how it goes on Ashram Road. We stay open until the evening. We do not do much online stuff, just the shop here at Swastik Super Market. It works for us and the people around here know where to find us. I have got a small stool where I sit and sometimes I watch the rain hit the window while I work. It is just a normal life here.
