We’re Mehta Cad Cam Systems Pvt. Ltd., and our workshop and office are at Plot No 3, Road No 1, in the Kathwada Gidc area of Ahmedabad. Being in the Gidc means we’re right in the middle of all the industrial activity. It’s a place where things actually get built and designed. Our spot on Plot No 3 is where all the daily work happens. We don’t really care for corporate titles or polished speeches. We’re more comfortable in our work clothes and getting our hands a bit dirty. The office part is just as practical as the rest of the place. We’ve got our computers set up and we spend our hours working through CAD designs and CAM setups. Ahmedabad is a big city, but Kathwada has its own specific feel to it. It’s hardworking and very straightforward. We try to reflect that in how we run things every day. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the work that needs doing and we do it. Some of us have been working on Road No 1 for years now and we’ve seen the Gidc grow quite a bit. It’s a no-frills environment, but it’s where we belong. We just keep moving forward, one project at a time, without any of the extra fluff you see in big city offices. We just like to keep things real and get the work finished.
