Kantilal Patel & Co-Chartered Accountants has its home at 35, Ashoknagar Society. We are located near Bhatta, just off Sarkhej Road in the Paldi area. This part of Ahmedabad is quite established, and being in a society instead of a high-rise makes the whole day feel a bit more relaxed. The office is basically a house that has been converted into a workspace over the years. You’ll find desks squeezed into rooms and stacks of files everywhere you look. We don’t go in for any of that modern minimalist design. It’s a busy, lived-in space where we get the real work done. Most of the people who come to see us have been doing so for years. They know the way to the society and where to park their scooters. We spend a lot of time on tax audits and accounting for local businesses. It’s steady work that requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes the neighborhood is noisy with children playing or people moving about the society, but it’s a nice background to have. We just keep things moving, one ledger at a time. We aren’t interested in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just local accountants who know the area and the people. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a keyboard or talking on the phone about some tax regulation. It is a simple, practical way to run a firm in Paldi.
