Numeron International

Numeron International is over at 274 New Cloth Market in Sarangpur. The market is always a sea of colors and people moving bales of fabric around. Our space is filled from floor to ceiling with different materials. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much inventory as possible into the shop. Every morning starts with unfolding things and checking what arrived on the trucks overnight. Sarangpur is a loud place with people shouting and carts rattling on the pavement. We’ve been here at number 274 for quite some time now. The air inside always smells a bit like new cotton and dye. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights; we just have stacks of cloth that people come to look through. Some days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch, while other days we just sit and wait for the afternoon rush. We keep a ledger to track everything, but it’s mostly just us remembering who needs what. It’s a traditional way of doing business that hasn’t changed much over the years. We deal with all sorts of buyers who come to the New Cloth Market looking for a good deal. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy rolls, which keeps us tired but happy. We’re just another part of the busy market life here in Sarangpur. It’s home to us now.
