Kamla Palstic

Kamla Palstic is our shop located in Maninagar, right at the Jasoda Chokdi. We are very close to Gaur Ka Kua, which is a landmark most people use to find their way around here. The area is always buzzing with traffic and people, so there’s never a dull moment. We have been selling all kinds of plastic goods from this location for many years. The store is packed from floor to ceiling with buckets, stools, containers, and crates. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. It’s just me and two other guys working here. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shop and wait for people to come in. The dust from the road is a bit of a problem, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the items on the shelves. It’s a regular local business. We don't use any fancy language with our customers. If someone needs a bucket, we show them what we have and tell them the price. We don't do home deliveries or anything complicated. People usually just carry their purchases away or tie them to their bikes. The chokdi is a good spot for us because so many people pass by on their way to work or home. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing.
