Kamal Printers

Kamal Printers is run out of number 34, Sumeru Bunglows, which is right near the Ramdev Nagar bus stand on Satellite Road. It is a bit different from other shops because we are located in a residential area, so it is not quite as noisy as the main commercial hubs in the city. We have set up all our printing equipment here and it takes up most of the ground floor space. You can usually hear the low hum of the machines if you are walking by the house. We do a lot of work for the families and the small businesses that live nearby. It is very handy being so close to the bus stand because people can just hop off and drop their printing stuff with us on their way somewhere else. The space inside is a bit tight with all the paper rolls and ink cans, but we make it work for us. We spend a lot of time checking the final prints and making sure the colors look okay. It is mostly just family members working here, so we do not have any formal meetings or anything like that. We just talk over tea about what needs to be finished by the end of the day. Sometimes we have to stay late if there is a big job that needs to be ready by the next morning. It’s a steady pace and we really like the neighborhood. People know where we are.
