Krishna Craft

Krishna Craft is located right in the middle of 110 Jummani Bazar. If you know where Kalupur Kotni Rang is, then you are already very close to us. The bazar is always crowded and noisy, which is just the way we like it. We’ve been here for a good while now, working on various crafts and items that people in the area need. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Things are stacked high and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when customers come in. We do most of the work right here in the back of the shop. It gets a bit messy with materials and tools lying around, but that is how you know work is happening. The light in the bazar can be a bit dim in the evenings, but we keep our lamps on until we close. People stop by while they are doing their other shopping. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about Krishna Craft. We just focus on the items we make and sell. It's a humble life here in the bazar. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start again. It’s a lot of manual work and standing on our feet, but we are used to it by now. It is a way of living for us.
