K-Is Confectionary

We are located at Plot No. 462 on Road No. 12, which is right in the heart of the Kathwada G.I.D.C. area. Being near the Odhav Octroi Naka means there is always a line of trucks and a lot of dust in the air. We make different kinds of sweets and snacks here. The kitchen area is always warm, and you can usually tell what we are making that day just by walking near the gate. We have a small team of people who have been with us since we first started. The work is mostly repetitive, like wrapping and boxing things up, but we try to keep a good pace. The office is just a tiny room near the front entrance where we keep the records and answer the phone. It gets quite loud because of the factories on either side of us, but we don't really notice it anymore. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just show up, make the confectionary, and send it out to the local shops. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing a conveyor belt. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know how to do. The road outside is usually bumpy and full of puddles when it rains, so getting the deliveries out can be a bit of a struggle, but we manage.
