Jna Art Jewellery

We are up in Block A-342 of Sumel Business Park 4. It’s a big complex in the Amdupura area, near Kalupur and Saraspur. It can be a bit of a maze trying to find our unit if you haven't been here before. We spend our hours sitting at small benches with very bright lights so we can see what we are doing with the tiny pieces of jewellery. The air conditioner hums all day to keep the heat away from the delicate work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to walk the stairs, which is quite a workout. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more of a workspace where the actual making happens. There are boxes of beads and metal wire everywhere you look. We try to keep it tidy, but when you are busy, things just pile up. The other businesses in the park are mostly quiet, so we can focus on our tasks. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby or bring it from home. It's nice being around other people who are also working hard on their own small businesses. We aren't trying to be some huge company. We just want to make items that people might like to wear. Sometimes the courier guy comes by three times a day because we have so many small packages going out. It's a lot of tiny details to keep track of every day.
