Jitu Traders

You can find Jitu Traders over at 108 Vrajbhumi Complex on Gandhi Road. It’s a busy street, and the building is usually buzzing with people going up and down the halls. We’ve been set up in this unit for a good few years now. The space isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high to make it all fit. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but I know where every box is located. I spend most of my day at the old wooden desk near the window. The view of Gandhi Road is mostly just buses and rickshaws, but it’s interesting to watch. We don’t use any fancy software for our books; it’s all done by hand in these big ledgers. It takes longer, but I trust my own writing more than a screen. My son helps out on the weekends when he isn't busy with his own things. We don’t have any marketing people or a sales team. If someone needs something, they just walk in and ask. We try to be helpful without being pushy. The overhead light flickers sometimes, so I usually just leave it off and use the sunlight. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to provide what people need and head home to our families at the end of the day. It's honest work.
