Jiger Rubber Works

Jiger Rubber Works is based in the Maheshwari Industrial Estate. Our unit number is 168. We are located right on Shahibaug Road in the Shahibaug area. It’s an older industrial part of the city, so there is a lot of history in the buildings around here. Working with rubber is a messy job. The machines are heavy and the smell is something you just get used to after a few days. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s an industrial unit, so it’s all about the production. We make different rubber parts and items as requested. The Maheshwari estate is pretty crowded, with trucks coming in and out to load and unload goods. Shahibaug Road is usually packed, especially during peak hours. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we know most of the other shop owners in the estate. We don’t really do any big marketing. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we can do with rubber. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure things are okay before they go out the door. If you’re looking for us, just come down Shahibaug Road and find the industrial estate entrance. Unit 168 is where we spend our days. It’s a lot of hard work, but we like it that way. The floor is usually covered in scraps, but that just means we're busy and getting through the orders.
