We’ve got our office at the Government Officer’s Colony in Kagdiwad. It’s near Ellis Bridge here in Ahmedabad. It’s a fairly old part of the city, and our building at number 7 has been there for quite some time. Being CAs, we spend a lot of our time buried in ledgers and tax forms. The office is filled with stacks of paper and old binders. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The wooden desks are a bit scratched up, and the chairs have that old office smell. We’ve been Jdc Associates for a while, and most of our day is spent helping people with their accounts. The neighborhood is usually busy with people heading toward the bridge. We can hear the traffic from the windows, but it’s just background noise to us now. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us. We just sit here, drink our tea, and go through the numbers. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a simple, local operation and we like being part of the community here in Ellis Bridge. There is always a lot of history in these old buildings and we are just another part of it.
