Jd Events & Promotions

We’ve been working out of Swastik Chambers on Ashram Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy area, especially with the college nearby. Our office is just a regular room filled with old event posters, stacks of flyers, and a few desks that have seen better days. We do events and promotions around Ahmedabad, which basically means we spend our days on the phone or running around trying to find printers who can work fast. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time we are worried about the weather or if the stage hands will show up on time. We started Jd Events because we liked the chaos of a live event. It’s a bit of a rush when everything finally comes together. We don't have a polished way of talking about our work. We just do it. If a client needs a product launch or a small roadshow near Income Tax office, we figure out a way to make it happen. Sometimes we make mistakes, like forgetting to order enough water for the staff, but we always fix it. It’s a small team here. We drink way too much tea and stay up late planning schedules. We don’t have a grand vision, we just want to get the job done so we can move on to the next one. Ashram Road is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just part of our daily grind.
