My place is at 104-Harilata Appartments. It is right near the Lilavati Girls Hostel, which is a very helpful landmark for anyone who has not been to this part of Navrangpura before. Commerce Six Roads is usually a very busy area with plenty of students and people rushing to their jobs. Ahmedabad is a fast-moving city, but once you get inside our apartment office, things feel a lot more relaxed. My name is Jatin Sharma and I have spent a lot of time making this space work for me. It is a standard apartment unit that we converted so we could have a proper place to handle our business. We have a few desks and enough space to move around without bumping into each other. Being so close to the hostel and the main roads means there is always some noise and activity outside, but I like the energy of it. The unit is on a floor that gets a good breeze if we leave the windows open. I chose Navrangpura because everything you need is right there, from shops to food stalls. We do not have a big, flashing sign outside. There is just a small nameplate by the door. Most people who come here already know where they are going anyway. We just get on with the work and keep the place tidy. It is a steady way to live.
