J.A.Patel & Co. C.A. is over here in Naranpura, right near the AEC char rasta. We’re tucked into the Nirmal apartments, specifically at 116/1003. It’s not one of those big glass buildings you see in the newer parts of Ahmedabad. It is a bit older, but it works for us. Most days start with a lot of tea and even more paperwork. Since we are on the tenth floor, you get a decent view of the traffic below, though the lift can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We handle audits and tax filings, mostly for people and small businesses around this side of town. It’s a small office. There’s usually a stack of files on every desk because that’s just how the CA business goes. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. It is mostly just shelves full of old records and computers that have seen better days. People usually just walk in when they have a question about their returns. We’ve been at this location for a good while now, so we know the neighbors pretty well. The AEC crossing is always a mess of scooters and cars, but it makes the area feel alive. We aren't trying to be some giant firm. It’s just us doing the work, checking the numbers, and making sure everything is filed where it belongs. It’s a simple life, really. Just keeping track of things for folks who don’t have the time to do it themselves.
