You can find Janshakti Industries at unit 49 in the Chirag Diamond Estate. We are right near Dinesh Chambers on Shastri Road in Bapunagar. It’s a lively part of town with a lot of trucks and workers coming and going at all hours. Our shed is just one of many in the estate, and it’s usually packed with whatever we are working on at the moment. We don’t have a lot of extra room for sitting around. Usually, there’s a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things from being too quiet. The estate gets pretty dusty, so we are always cleaning off our workbenches. Bapunagar is a place where people work hard, and we are no different. We get here early, unlock the shutters, and get the machines started. The noise can be a lot sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us have been working in this area for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and where to get the best snacks nearby. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells and whistles. We keep our tools where they belong and try to get through the day's list. If there’s a problem with a machine, we fix it ourselves and move on. That’s just the way it goes here at number 49. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just do the work and go home.
