Jalsa Events

Jalsa Events operates out of the Shreyas Complex in Vejalpur. Our unit is Ba-12, right on Tagore Marg. Vejalpur is a busy residential area, and we fit right in with the other small businesses in the complex. We focus on putting together events for the people in our neighborhood and the surrounding parts of Ahmedabad. The office isn't very large, but it’s where all the planning happens. We have catalogs and samples of things we use for parties and gatherings. We are just a small group of people who enjoy the process of setting things up. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking with vendors to make sure everything is ready. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. Most of our work comes from people who saw a wedding or a party we worked on and asked for our number. Tagore Marg is a well-known street, so it’s not hard to find us if you’re in the area. We usually have music playing in the office while we work. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the paper and sketches lying around. We just want to do a decent job so people are happy with their events. It’s stressful when the deadlines get close, but we’ve gotten used to the pressure over the years. We just take it one day at a time and keep things simple. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the planning for the next morning. There are always a few tea cups on the desk by the end.
