Jai Khodiyar Traders

Jai Khodiyar Traders is on the first floor at 1685/11-B, right in Chokha Bazar. We are directly opposite the Tirupati Complex in Kalupur. It is a very traditional part of the city and the streets are always full of people and carts. To get to us, you have to head up the stairs, which can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes. Our space is mostly filled with stock. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. Kalupur is a loud place, and you can hear the shouting of the traders from the street all day long. We have a small desk where we keep our ledgers and take orders. It’s not a modern office by any means. There are bits of packing tape and cardboard scraps on the floor most afternoons. We’ve been trading here for years and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit. But Jai Khodiyar Traders stays pretty much the same. We open up early, check the stock, and talk to the people who come in. It’s a simple way of doing business. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy talk. We just provide what people are looking for in Chokha Bazar and try to keep things moving.
