J. K. Horticulture Exports Pvt. Ltd.

We are up on the third floor of the Agrawal Centre, which is right near the Income-Tax Circle on Ashram Road. It is a busy spot in Ahmedabad, that is for sure. J. K. Horticulture Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this building for some time. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view of the traffic below, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. The elevator in this building has a mind of its own sometimes, so some of us just take the stairs to stay awake. Our office is full of files and maps and some plant samples here and there. It is not exactly a garden, but we deal with that kind of stuff all day. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the summer months here. We don't have any big receptionists or fancy waiting rooms. If you come in, you just walk past the desks until you find someone who isn't on the phone. Ashram Road is always noisy with cars and horns, but once you get inside the Agrawal Centre, it quietens down a little. We spend a lot of time talking to people in different places because of the export side of things. It is a lot of logistics and making sure things move when they are supposed to. Just a regular bunch of people working.
