Our office, J J Fadia And Associates, is located in the Span Trade Center in Paldi. We are in room 311. It is right across from the Kochrab Ashram, which is a pretty famous landmark around here. The building itself is usually bustling with people going to different offices. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Inside, it is just a normal office with computers, printers, and a lot of paper. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, sit down, and get to work on whatever needs doing that day. It might be taxes, it might be audits, or just general advice. We take things as they come. Sometimes the traffic in Paldi is a nightmare, but that is just life in Ahmedabad. We have a small team and we all know each other well. There is no corporate hierarchy here; we just help each other out. If someone walks in, we talk to them directly. It is a practical way of running a business. We are not trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to do the work correctly and go home at the end of the day. It is a simple operation, but it keeps us busy and we like it that way. Most days are pretty quiet.
