You have to head into Kalupur to find us at 372, Haja Patel Pole. We are near the Tankshal, which is a big landmark for people who live around here. J Dave & Co, which some people call Rakesh J Dave & Co, has been tucked away in this pole for years. It’s a traditional kind of spot, very narrow streets and lots of neighbors close by. The atmosphere is always lively. You can hear the sounds of the city and the people living their lives right outside our door. Our space is functional. We don't have much room for extras, so every bit of the office is used for something important. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to the old parts of the city, but we like the history of the area. We do our work, talk to the people who come in, and keep things simple. There isn't any corporate vibe here at all. It’s more like a family-run feel where everyone knows each other. We spend our days dealing with the usual business stuff, sometimes with a cup of tea. It’s just a regular workplace in a very old, busy part of town. We’ve seen the area change a lot, but we’re still here in the same spot, doing what we’ve always done. It’s crowded and noisy, but it’s our corner of the world and we like it here.
