We run Itmatchonline.Com out of an apartment in Ahmedabad. It’s J-402 in Swaminaraya Park. If you know the area, it’s a residential place, so it stays pretty calm during the work hours when everyone else is out at their own jobs. We have our computers set up in one of the rooms. The address is 380013, right in the heart of Gujarat. Being an online business means we don't get many people walking in off the street, but we are here every day doing the work. We mostly deal with matchmaking and connecting people through the site. It’s a lot of typing and looking at different profiles. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to walk up all those stairs, which is quite a workout in the heat. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the website stays up and the messages get through to the right people. The view from the window is just other apartments and some trees in the courtyard. It’s a quiet life for a tech business. We like it that way because we can focus on the data without much noise from the traffic outside. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost in the park because there are so many blocks, but they eventually find J-402. We've been here for some time and the apartment feels more like an office now than a home.
