Ishika Events And Orchestra

Our little office is at 2063 in Sarangpur. It is near Satyanarayan Temple, right in the Dolatkhana area of Ahmedabad. It’s an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and full of life. We do events and have an orchestra group. Most of our evenings are spent rehearsing or packing up instruments into the van. It’s a lot of noise, from drums to keyboards, and sometimes the neighbors probably wish we were quieter. We don't have a big polished image. We are just musicians and organizers who like what we do. The 380002 area is where we grew up, so we know everyone around here. Sometimes we play at small family gatherings and other times it’s a bit bigger. We spend a lot of time fixing wires and checking microphones. It’s not always glamorous; sometimes we are just waiting around for hours for our turn to perform. The office is mostly just a place to store the speakers and the costumes. We don't really have a boss who sits in a big chair. We all just muck in and get the gear moved. It's a bit of a chaotic life, but it suits us. We don't use any fancy scripts or big promises. We just show up with our instruments and do the best we can with the sound we've got, even when the power goes out.
