We are located right across from the Associated Petrol Pump, at Iscon House. Iscon Balaji Foods Pvt. Ltd is the name on the board outside. It’s a busy area with cars and trucks constantly pulling in and out for fuel. Inside our building, things are just as frantic most of the time. We deal with a lot of food products, so there’s always a rush to get things out before they sit too long. The office upstairs is a bit cramped, but we manage to fit everyone in. You can usually hear the sound of the loading bay from the front desk. It’s an industrial vibe, nothing too fancy or decorated. We just focus on the logistics of moving food. Sometimes the smell of the warehouse is quite strong, depending on what we’ve got in stock that week. We have a small staff, and we all wear many hats. One day I’m checking invoices, and the next I’m helping move crates because a driver is late. That’s how it goes in the food business. We’ve been at this Iscon House location for several years now. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the petrol pump, so we never have to give complicated directions. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The traffic outside can be a headache, but being right here on the main road makes the deliveries much easier for the guys. It is a practical life.
