Our office for Infomedia India Limited is tucked into Shiv Complex over in Bopal, Ahmedabad. It is unit number four. If you are familiar with this part of the city, you know that Bopal has changed quite a bit from being a quiet suburb to a very busy place. Shiv Complex is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of different businesses come and go. We have a small team here and the space is filled with computers and old filing cabinets that we really should organize better one of these days. Parking can be a real struggle in the afternoons when the shops downstairs are busy with customers. We usually spend our mornings catching up on emails and the various tasks that pile up. The walls are a bit thin, so we can often hear the traffic from the street outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. It is a very basic setup without any of the fancy perks you find in big corporate offices. We just focus on getting our work finished so we can head home. The air conditioning struggles a bit when it gets really hot in May, but we make do with fans. It is a practical place for a practical team. We have been in this spot for several years and the neighborhood feels like home.
