Hutch Customer Care

You can find us at L18 Suvarna Appt, which is right behind Nirnay Nagar in the Ranip area of Ahmedabad. This is where we handle the customer care side of things for Hutch. It is basically a converted apartment space, so it feels a lot more like a home than a big office building. We have people coming in all day long with their mobile phones, complaining about signal issues or asking why their balance is low. We sit behind some simple counters and try to sort through the problems one by one. There are stacks of SIM card packs and recharge vouchers everywhere. The Ranip neighborhood is a nice place to be, and we see a lot of the same faces coming back whenever they have a tech problem. It’s not always quiet here; sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded and the fans are always humming to keep the heat down. We don't use any big fancy scripts, we just talk to people and see what's wrong with their devices or their accounts. It’s the kind of place where you might have to wait a few minutes while we look something up on the old computer system. We keep things pretty informal. We’ve been here at Suvarna Appt for quite some time, so most people in the locality know exactly which door to knock on when their phone stops working. It’s just us helping out with the daily mobile stuff for everyone.
