Indulgence

We are down in the basement of the Mahadev Complex, right across from Shivalik Plaza on IIM Road. It’s a bit of a funny spot being in Part B of the basement, but once you find us, it’s okay. The name of the place is Indulgence. We are in the Ambavadi area, which is always moving. Since we are downstairs, it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice during the summer months. It's not a big, bright shop window kind of place. We have a modest setup here. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they work in the same building. We do our work without a lot of noise. The space is filled with whatever we need for the day, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered. We aren't some fancy high-end boutique with a doorman. It's just us in a basement room. We handle things as they come. Sometimes we are super busy and other times it's quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the work, and go home. If the lights flicker a bit, we just ignore it. It’s a real place with real people. We’ve been here in Ambavadi for a while and we know the neighborhood well. It’s just how we live and work. Nothing more and nothing less than that.
