Indic Alpha Llp is right in the heart of old Ahmedabad. We are at No 3070 in Lakhota Pole, which is tucked away in the Popatiyawad area of Dariyapur. If you’ve never been to a pole before, it’s a whole different world compared to the newer parts of the city. The streets are narrow and there’s a lot of history in the walls of these buildings. Our space is part of that fabric. It isn't a modern office park with underground parking and glass elevators. Instead, you walk through the small lanes where neighbors know each other and the smell of cooking sometimes wafts through the windows. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge for someone who isn't used to the layout of Dariyapur, but once you find Lakhota Pole, you’re basically there. We’ve been operating from here because it’s where we feel connected to the city. The building is old, and it has its quirks, like the uneven floors or the way the light hits the courtyard in the afternoon. We don’t have a big sign out front or a marketing team telling us how to look professional. We just do our work among the daily life of the neighborhood. It gets loud when the kids are playing in the lanes, but it keeps things interesting. It is a very grounded place to spend your working hours.
