Our office for I-Serve Systems is tucked away in A-11 of the Pooja Flats. If you know Ahmedabad well, you will find us in Gulbai Tekra, which is a busy enough spot. We are situated right across from the Telephone Exchange, so that is how most people find their way to us when they are visiting for the first time. The flats are a bit older, which gives the place some character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb on a hot day. Inside, we have set things up to be functional. It is mostly computers and cables running along the walls. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just need a reliable place to sit and handle our systems work. The traffic outside can get loud, especially during rush hour, but we have gotten used to the sound of the horns and the general city noise. Usually, we have a stack of tiffin boxes in the corner around lunchtime. It is a small team here, so we all know each other’s business and help out when something goes wrong with a project. We do not have those big open-plan offices you see in movies. It is just a few rooms in a residential building where we spend our nine-to-five. It feels practical and honest. We stay busy with the work that comes through the door and try to keep things moving without making a big fuss about it.
