Chamanpura Chakla is always humming with activity. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. Our space isn't huge, but it is where we spend all our time. The chawl has its own rhythm. We have neighbors who have been here as long as we can remember. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the narrow lanes, but that is just how it is in this part of the city. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It is a simple place. We like being near the pan house because people are always stopping by there. It makes the whole area feel alive.
